Crashed on 10-jun-1978, aprox. 17 nautical miles nort of Andøya. The plane was on a mission to identify three unknown vessels aprox 32 nautical miles from Hillesøy radar. After circleing the targets twice, the fighter flew into the sea aprox. 5 nautical miles to the south of these. The pilot was killed.

Totalhavari 10 juni 1978 ca 17 nautiske mil nord for Andøya. Flyets oppdrag var å identifisere tre ukjente fartøyer ca 32 nautiske mil fra Hillesøy radar. Etter å ha fløyet to ganger forbi målet, traff flyet vannet ca 5 nautiske mil sør for disse. Flygeren omkom.
